ELECTIONS

State and Federal elections are held every even year at the Palmer Town Hall from 7:00 am - 8:00 pm.  The presidential primary is the first Tuesday of March. The primary is the first Tuesday after the second Monday in August and the General Election is the fir​st Tuesday after the first Monday in November.  For information on how to register, vote absentee, vote over seas or find your polling place, please visit the Minnesota of Secretary of State website: Minnesota Secretary of State 

Township elections are held on the second Tuesday of March each year from 10:00 am - 8:00 pm in coordination with the townships annual meeting immediately following at the Palmer Township Hall.  A town board of three supervisors, elected to staggered three-year  terms on an annual basis, make up the governing board for Palmer Township.

NOTICE OF ANNUAL MEETING

AND ELECTION OF OFFICERS

PALMER TOWNSHIP SUPERVISOR

 

 

Notice is hereby given to the qualified voters of Palmer Township, County of Sherburne, State of Minnesota, that the Annual Election of Town Officers and Annual Town Meeting will be held on Tuesday, March 10, 2026.  In case of inclement weather, the meeting and election may be postponed until the third Tuesday in March.

 

The Election Poll hours will be open from 10:00 A.M. to 8:00 P.M. on March 10, 2026, at which time the voters will elect:

 

One Supervisor to fill the office for a three-year term, currently held by Mitch Wipper.

 

The Annual Meeting will commence at 8:05 P.M. to conduct all necessary business prescribed by law.

 

 The annual election and meeting will be held at the following location:

 

Palmer Township Hall

4180 – 105th Avenue

Clear Lake, MN  55319

 

The Board of Canvass will meet following the Annual Meeting.
